JOB Summary

The Training Specialist is responsible for assisting in the customer training functions in various aspects to enhance customer experience and assist to grow business. The Specialist will assist with entering data into Salesforce.com, managing the eLearning platform, compiling reports, assisting with live webinar preparation, and assisting the Training and Marketing Departments.

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicate directly with external and internal customers on specific topics of webinars, strategic programs (coupons) and the eLearning platform.
  • Work closely with various departments, including Solution Center, Sales Support, and Marketing teams to establish and follow effective and efficient processes that will benefit our sales team.
  • Use Salesforce.com (SFDC) to input and report information.
  • Assist in the creation, management and implementation of campaigns to promote customer training and various other marketing initiatives.
  • Assist in the process of hosting live webinars, creating GoToWebinar events, compiling reports to share with sales, and creating campaigns in SFDC.
  • Facilitate internal administrative duties, such as customer calendar management, internal coordination, department meetings, etc.
  • Provide assistance for various corporative initiatives such as custom training requests with external vendors for sales.
  • Perform ad hoc responsibilities, as needed.

ESSENTIAL Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing a related field (e.g., Sales, Training Development) or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of three years of sales support, and or customer training experience preferred, prior customer service experience is a plus.
  • Mortgage industry lending experience is preferred.
  • Proficient in Salesforce.com, GoToWebinar, and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), is a plus.
  • Able to work autonomously.
  • Organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer service skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt and remain flexible with changing priorities and varied duties on a daily basis, including a collaborative spirit.
  • Highly proficient in written and verbal communications, using all forms of media is required.
