The Salesforce (SFDC) Systems Administrator position is responsible for managing, developing and maintaining our Salesforce CRM application, focusing on optimizing workflows, insights, and data hygiene. This role will also support the CRM business partners that directly, or indirectly interface with SFDC, in support of the overall business architecture. The individual will work directly with Salesforce users as well as key Operations Business Unit and IT leadership.

ESSENTIAL Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work with cross functional teams and business stakeholders to help define and document business requirements for the CRM application.
  • Assist with documenting current and planned business processes (relative to SFDC) while understanding the data and technologies needed to realize the explicit corporate objectives.
  • Maintain and customize all aspects of the Salesforce platform including objects, fields, layouts, security, reporting, validation rules, workflows, data manipulation, test environments and migration.
  • Daily administration and support of SFDC including but not limited to managing multiple user setup, profiles and roles.
  • Create software development lifecycle artifacts to document business requirements, functional specifications and deliverables of the SFDC application.
  • Ad-hoc reporting design and development to support business or corporate objectives.
  • Assist with the development of release notes, user guides and facilitate end-user training, as applicable.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures for the Information Technology Department.
  • Provide ad hoc assistance, as needed.

ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent relevant work experience. Master’s Degree in business or related information technology competency preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as Salesforce administrator for sales and support organizations.
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator. Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM201), or developer strongly preferred.
  • Highly proficient with the SFDC platform (around customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts and validations) to support the business unit requirements and corporate objectives. Hands-on development experience with Salesforce API, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, SQL.
  • Previous experience implementing SFDC or other CRM suite; ability to apply experience and best practices with SFDC or other CRM suite into optimal business solutions.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience and knowledge in information technologies, processes, software development lifecycles and strategic initiatives. Experience supporting Mortgage Insurance, or Residential Mortgage technology projects preferred.
  • Advanced technical skills including SQL, PL/SQL, Microsoft Office, Visio & Project strongly preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications.
  • Prior experience with project management and workflow software tools.
  • Ability to maintain strong technical and user documentation.
  • Ability to translate and deliver actionable, high-impact plans that improve CRM, relationship management, sales opportunities, planning and business workflow.
  • Experience in integrating information from a variety of resources, formats and systems.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Superior interpersonal relationship building and leadership skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong attention to detail.
  • Maintains confidentiality of information and uses information appropriately.
  • Analyzes and interprets information accurately.
