POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Marketing Specialist will work within the marketing department working closely with the marketing team to handle production requests that come into the marketing department. This role will be responsible for building and managing timelines and executing planning, working closely across the organization and with external resources to execute marketing programs and campaigns.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enable the team to follow best-practice processes for projects, from creation to completion.
  • Build and maintain project schedules in order to ensure the marketing team delivers timely and exceptional work to its customers.
  • Ensure all internal approval from stakeholders and legal are obtained in a timely manner.
  • Partner with vendors, as needed, on larger projects.
  • Integrate all projects into one working plan for the team to use for planning and forecasting current and future project timelines.
  • Create and update weekly workflows for team discussion and review, ideally in Salesforce.com cases.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities for the team and work to implement them across the department.
  • Monitor completed projects and report back results in a story format for stakeholders to understand. If needed, be ready to make recommendations about how best to improve project and/or campaign performance.
  • Provide back-up support to digital marketing specialist including video editing, email, social, and website updates.
  • Provide ad hoc assistance as needed

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of four years’ experience as a project coordinator or similar role.
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities.
  • Outstanding communication skills across numerous platforms including written, verbal and multi-media (print and email).
  • Prior experience and strong understanding of marketing analytics a plus.
  • Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office. 
  • CRM (Salesforce.com) and marketing automation (Pardot) experience a plus.
  • Experience in tracking results and knowing how to “get to the data” to routinely provide and report on analysis and insights to a variety of stakeholders, including executives.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently prioritize and manage multiple tasks from concept through implementation and deliver quality outcomes on time and on budget.
  • Proven experience comfortably communicating with all levels of management.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Ability to learn and build knowledge within the organization quickly.
